Dentures

If you have lost teeth or unfortunately need teeth removed, dentures may be a more affordable option for you. Dentures are a removable plate that is used to replace teeth.

There are 3 types of dentures, depending on your situation; you may be able to choose from:

1. Acrylic Dentures

A plastic base with metal clasp (the part that clips around your tooth). These dentures are easier to repair and add more teeth, if more teeth are lost in the future.

2. Flexible Dentures

Flexible dentures are made from a more flexible plastic. The benefit of flexible denture is the clasps can be made from the flexible plastic making them more cosmetic. Flexible dentures however can be more difficult to repair, adjust and add teeth to in the future.

3. Metal Dentures

Chrome dentures have a cobalt/chrome base, which makes them stronger and allows them to be made smaller and thinner. This can, for many people, make them more comfortable to wear. Metal dentures are a great option for people with missing teeth and excellent oral hygiene, where implants are not an option. However metal dentures can be more difficult and expensive to adjust, repair or add more teeth to in the future.
